22 Mar Our favourite 2017 international fashion week trends
With every fashion week that passes we are equally inspired by the incredible street style as we are with stand out runway trends. Here’s a look at our favourites from the 2017 Fall/Winter international fashion weeks.
Sheer top trend.
Kendall Jenner kicked off this trend at the NYFW La Perla show as she embraced her nude chest in a gorgeous, glittering gown. While we love the look we wouldn’t be as daring as Kendall but are obsessed with the street style looks embracing the sheer trend.
The super simple slogan tee.
Designers voiced their opinions on the runways through powerful slogan tee’s. Public School, Creatures of Comfort, and Alice + Olivia all incorporated the slogan tee into their collections.
Our remaining favourites were all about texture!
Faux fur.
Brightly coloured faux fur took over the runway at fashion week and is one of our favourite runway and street style trends which featured at fashion week. Raf Simons collection for Calvin Klein included a brightly coloured faux fur coat encased by a plastic trench for an added edge which gained a lot of attention and praise by international press.
Feathers.
Top designers like Calvin Klein, Marchesa, and Naeem Khan incorporated this trend into their breath-taking eveningwear pieces.
