On the 13th of March 2017 we teamed up with Krispy Kreme South Africa, to host the official VIP launch event for the all-new Krispy Kreme store at the Gateway Theatre of Shopping. The very first Krispy Kreme store to launch in Kwa-Zulu Natal since the brand’s arrival in 2015.
The much-anticipated store launch was met with lots of excitement and was attended by a number of local media, bloggers, social media influencers and celebrities who all gathered at the store to enjoy the ultimate Krispy Kreme experience. Guests sipped on signature mocktails and were treated to gourmet burgers by FudArt as they were welcomed by Erin Kriel, Krispy Kreme South Africa Marketing Manager and were also addressed by Krispy Kreme South Africa CEO Gerry Thomas. Mzamo, one of the Krispy Kreme Gateway employees entertained guests with a poem inspired by the joy and memories the brand creates and has ultimately inspired him.
All guests were treated to an exclusive viewing of the store where they were each treated to a dozen assorted doughnuts of their choice, an exclusive tour of the sought after doughnut theatre and a chance to make their own doughnuts. To end off the incredible evening singer Kyle Deutsch captivated attendees with an incredible performance.
